Running Workout

What is a good running workout plan i should do?
I weigh 173 and 5′5 and trying to lose weight. what shud i eat and do for running? also for push ups
seems to me it is a simple equation. start the day at zero. calories in minus calories burned equals net calories. positive means weight gain. negative means Weight Loss. if you are starting your exercise for the first time, i would do 20 minutes 3 times per week, working toward 30 minutes 5 times per week and ultimately seeing if you can extend from there. also have to be cognizant of what you eat, so you don’t actually intake more calories than you expend.
